My team and I have been digging into the BackerKit backend all day and have reached out to both BackerKit Support and our fulfillment partner to confirm some details. 

Once we get some additional clarity from them, we'll post an update here with a breakdown of the changes we're implementing and why.

Quick Start Gameplay Guide + the Imminent Pledge Manager

Hello there BAM Fam!

It's been a wild few weeks at the shop post campaign while we've been building out the Pledge Manager via BackerKit. BackerKit store construction is always a huge undertaking to ensure all of our backers across the world get accurate and easily accessible info,  but it was complicated further this time by an outbreak of covid amongst the team. Whatever variant is floating around Seattle right now is a mean one--and a few of us (including myself) got hit like a ton of bricks.

So, unfortunately, we lost a bit of our post-campaign groove over the last few weeks. However, with some excellent coordination, my teammates and I were able to get the Pledge Manager ready for the smoke test today! All we are waiting for is for BackerKit's team to assess our work for any issues that might affect backers' experience with the survey/pre-order store. That can take up to 2 business days, so we should hopefully be within 3 days of launch. 🤞 

To avoid having too many gaps in communication in the future when stuff gets crazy at the shop, we recently brought on Alex, formerly of the <i>Rivenstone Report</i> podcast, as a Junior Social Media Coordinator. He'll be helping me out with ensuring the latest BAM news is getting out there across all our channels consistently. I'm excited to see the team grow and improve, and I appreciate everyone's patience as we handle some growing pains. Just know we hear you about the gaps, and we're actively working on getting better.

More Shipping Updates, Alt Hero Sculpts #3 + #4 Revealed + Livestream Tomorrow!

Hey there folks! 

We can't believe this whirlwind of a campaign is finally coming to a close in just a little over a day. All of the overwhelmingly positive response we've gotten from the community has been an incredible bright spot for our entire team, and with funding secured, we're ready to get Rivenstone production rolling. 

That being said, there is still news to be shared before the campaign closes!

Update on Shipping Rates

I am pleased to say that my efforts to drive down shipping costs for backers (especially those overseas) is paying off a bit! While I still need our final shipping numbers after the close of the campaign to get a locked in rate, I can say that there has been positive forward progress. Check out the newest estimated rates for the Ascended Augur Pledge tier below:

•  USA: $15 - $35 (down from $40-$90)
•  CANADA: $50 (down from $100)
•  EU: $100 (down from $120)
•  UK: $120 (down from $140)
•  AUS + NZ: $150 (down from $200)
•  SOUTH AFRICA: $150 (down from $180)
•  MALAYSIA/SINGAPORE: $130 (down from $145)

I am going to continue to work on the overseas shipping rates (EU, UK, AUS + NZ, SA, M/S), as I believe I might be able to secure even better rates with freight. 

In the meantime, I hope this helps ease some sticker shock from the worst-case scenario pricing I provided previously. I just wanted to ensure we were as transparent as possible about the potential cost of shipping overseas rather than waiting until after the campaign to slap folks with a large bill. Shipping definitely shouldn't feel like ransom, in our opinion.

I'll continue to work on getting those prices even lower if I can, so wish me luck! 😉
